Hey everyone, I just finished with my mass of college art work for the semester (and forever, since I graduate in 3 weeks) and now I am going to share them with you all. I am pretty proud of all these, especially the way I presented them in real life.

I am thinking I am done with these for a while unless a random wave of abstract imagery and inspiration hits me, they bring me great success in galleries, they are just popular, or I feel like it (they are pretty fun to do), but until then I am finished and I am focused on creature art.

        So here they are!

            Thanks everyone, appreciate it!

I had too much free time yesterday and spent it creating random creatures and this is the result. I think it's a cross between a elephant seal, tiger, and bear? Either way I am going to develop it farther because I like it. Can anybody think of a good name for it?

Your anatomicae entry was beautiful, I loved how you rendered the eagle, the pose is strikingly powerful and the render of the feathers just blew my mind, your entry is definitely one of my favorites!
Also, congratulations in advance for your graduation! You got a bright future ahead, you're very talented, so don't stop being awesome!

Hey everyone! Thanks again for all the good comments!

@ Amaakir - Wow, thanks a lot for the kind words. I really do appreciate it.

@ kevin - Hey kevin, those were done with photoshop and were made to look like photographs. I can say mission accomplished, thank you very much!

                @ guilhermegarcia - thanks!

@ JoseVega - Ha ha, I would say the same to my work. I always dislike the cliche splash of paint on a canvas and dubbing it abstract, artists need to put a little bit more work in it than that!

Now on to the art. Today I have a simple set of sketches that I have done for the Anatomicae #26: Human Chimera. These are ideas for a chimera that is part snake, part human. If anybody is wondering why they are all just heads, I typically start with the head for inspiration and work the body from that. To me, the head is the most important and it draws the most attention.

It's great to have you participating again in Anatomicae! That's a great start, haha, I was aiming for EXACTLY the same concept hahaha but I decided to go with a shark-human hybrid
Can't wait to see your progress, go gettem!
