    Default Pretty Interesting

What do you guys think about 3D printing? This is a pretty cool model developed by Dropping Form Designs, and 3D printed through kraftwurx.

You can find the product here

Have you guys seen much of 3D Printing?

I've recently looked some things up about 3D printing and yes it is pretty interesting. In the Netherlands we have some workshop-like spaces in the big cities where you can do a course about 3D printing and laser cutting and those kinda things, I've been thinking about trying it out, though I don't know exactly what I would use it for....there are so many things you can create!

Ugh...3D printing huh? I had a class that spent a whole day observing a new article about 3D printing and giving our opinions about it and stuff. xD
It seems like such a useful thing on the rise because of the fact that it's extremely flexible with the items you can make. People use it for small unique parts that can't be made anywhere else and for (obviously) art!
I don't know if it would be more useful for you to make a big piece of artwork (like the skull up there) or if it would be more useful to make something piece by piece...like for instance....along the line of Legos? Or a person piece by piece? Body first, armor second?
Excuse my little rant here. xD
