Hey guys, I recently did this illustration for a book and would like to have it critiqued. What are the piece's strengths and weaknesses, how could it be improved conceptually or technically, and overall, how do you feel about the piece? Thanks in advance

Gr8 Very Good! Just thought that the blue and red are a lot of attention, but the composition is very good!

Really good work,
... My thoughts: Maybe it's a bit static in the fact that the guy is just sitting there and the bear is just standing there (depsite the snow and the bodies). On the other hand, there are so many details that I don't know where to look at, indeed the saturated colors are a bit distracting.

Next to that, the red banner and the fluffy things under the beasts chin are blowing the wrong way, (or the snow is blowing the wrong way, either way they should be in the same direction)
However,
I think your lightning and shadows are really good and I love all the other details, so well done!
