I am sure you can improve yourself much more in few months time if you practice hard..
And if you are slow, then take whatever work you can complete in time and don't overload yourself with excess burden.

Skills are things that you have to nurture and polish overtime.
Brushing up the skills is really important when you wanna handle some commission work.
Some people have a tough time dealing with the digital medium(PS,Painter, etc) then the traditional medium(Pencil, etc). If you have got skills with Traditional medium then you can try asking for Traditional Commission work instead.

Just invest few months and work hard to polish up your skills and start doing it.
Also, when someone is paying you for a work, they would ask for something perfect for their needs and style. So you also have to keep that in mind.

Lets cut to the chase and be brutally honest so as not to waste anyones time, and have them believe anything else. To be brutally blunt, no I do not think you are good enough for commissions. Your artwork looks very very basic, no thought of light&dark shapes, composition, how anatomy works, design aspects.

You still have alot to learn, please dont think because you can put a few colours together in photoshop that you can paint. There is still alot for you not to just study but you really have to think, why does this work like this, how can I improve this, why did that work like that, how can this shape fit into the whole puzzle etc.

Again I say this not to be harsh but to be brutally honest. It wont take you a few months or a couple of months it may take you 1-2 you to trully understand what you are doing in art, and learn mark making processes.
