Here are some wip environment ideas. Tried to keep it within a 3 or 4 value structure range. White was generally reserved for strong highlights or glows.

The title is actually Neuromancer, and currently it is still just a book. Movie to come, soonish. You should definitely read the book, though. Aside from being dense, prophetic and relentlessly inventive, it's the foundation for countless sci-fi books and movies- such as the Matrix Trilogy. Nearly 30 years and still the best in the genre :P

Here is a revised marketplace concept WIP. Kind of a culmination of a few bits from my previous greyscale versions.
Still need to do a polish/value pass on the lower region, but thought I would post my progress to date.

Really neat to see everyone's work so far!

Rahmatozz: Looking pretty cool. Has a nice ethereal, watery vibe going on. Looking forward to seeing how you infuse tech with that style.

marzie_e: You should definitely check out Darryl Mandrake's latest stuff (such as this, and this). Should be pretty inspirational for this particular piece ;]

Here is another update on my Neuromancer.
Don't know the book so sort of painting in the dark.
Just started to play with straight lines to get a more teck feel.
A neon dark world within a snowy post apocalyptic bg.
Need to work on putting some Japanese punk into it.
