    Default Where do I start?

So I just got an Intuos4 which is a good start to what i want to do. The problem is that thats the only start i have. My goal is to become a professional environment/landscape digital designer. Can you guys reccommend where i should start my education. I want to first learn perspective drawing then dynamic sketching then environment sketching and finally environent design.

      Hello Siky98,
Where are you located? If you are in the LA area I would highly recommend Concept Design Academy. It's a great school to learn the foundations and most of the classes that you mentioned are available as well. The cost per class is significantly cheaper than what you would pay at an accredited art school (unless obtaining a degree is very important to you).

If you are outside of the LA area then I would recommend our school http://www.cgmwmasterclasses.com/2d-...ion-track.html
We recently rolled out our foundation track which encompasses comprehensive foundation classes that will help to develop your abilities for a start in entertainment design. We also currently offer all of the classes that you mentioned and plan on starting a more focused Environment Design track in the Summer. But in the meantime you could start on the foundations and work your way up to the Environment Design focus track. Our class are reasonably priced and taught by some of the best professionals (and most importantly) instructors in the industry. I hope this helps.
You could also check out some of our students work from last term.

I would recommend checking the Gnomon Workshop DVDSs, they were awesome learning tools when I decided to become a Concept Artist. Videos from Feng Zhu will teach you perspective and composition, later they are other great vids from James Clyne, Ryan Church, and Dylan Cole.
After that is just a matter of painting as much as you can until your work start getting a professional look, post in forums, and take all the feedback you can. Good luck!
