Creature #54 :: Monsters Inc

Deadline: April 12th 2012 11:59pm [PST]

Challenge Overview:
It's been a while since we had an open round, so lets try to make this a fun one...
Let's visit Pixars world of the ever great Monsters Inc!

Your task:
Simple! Create a citizen of the Monsters Inc world! No limits, your character can be a "scarer" for Monsters, Inc firm, or just a regular citizen of Monstropolis.

Restrictions:
Please research the film and try to create a creature that fits the style of the film, other than that go nuts!

oh my gawd...I so need to do this!

I have one quick question, because I can see myself really getting involved in this one. Can we include a short little storyboard/sequential art with our entry?

@ Irawan - Excellent start you've got there! Think your characters capture a good range of the Monsters Inc. universe atmosphere with your characters. I'm not to sure about the shadows because they just don't seem to fit or fade in a way I'd think they would.(then again I can see it working if that's how you start your shadow placement which is fine)
Great job though, can't wait to see where you take it :]

if you have the time i say go for it, but the real focus should be on the design of your creature, so you should have one shot that shows it off nicely

SMmmmphhh ,SMmmmphhh thinking here,come on lets see,oh yes why not a Fat teacher i use to be scared crap less when i was around 6 years old.Man She was a Big,Mean farting machine on steroids, oily drool and a Mohawk under arm pit man.It official ,this creature forge is gonna be a blast.Im gonna try to incorporate a story into this one after watching the trailer of this film.

I have a question for the moderator of this challenge,
-can we create semi-realistic characters?Ive seen that in the films trailer the characters a simply created,an the form is rather straight forward.I wanted a bit more perspective in my designs.
