“Midday” the short is an excerpt from a feature script of the same name penned by the film’s director, Kasra Farahani, an experienced and well regarded concept artist and Art Director in the feature film world. Midday is the debut writing/director effort for Kasra, who has spent his career in the art departments of master filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg, Michael Mann, Tim Burton, James Cameron, and David Fincher. The crew of Midday is packed with A-list filmmakers including Cinematographer Chris Manley (Madmen, Thor), and editor Tyler Nelson (Benjamin Button, Social Network, Girl with a Dragon Tattoo). We are looking for an enthusiastic vfx compositor to join our team on a tight deadline. Work starts ASAP! Must live in Southern California but can work remotely.
