Much love and respect to Irawan for the overpaint! I think he hit it on the spot.

Good work, Mako! I enjoyed those BW sketches.

@ Heri - THANKS SO MUCH MY FRIEND!!! Yup - you're right about adding more details and volume to the entire image. I kept it more simple, 'cause a character is acting in that scene. And I wasn't sure how the light will affect the char. But I really like what you did.
Still calling you a master! Thanks again.

@ Dario - Thanks a lot, mate! Glad you like it!! Sieht wohl so aus als müsste ich ein paar mehr davon machen

trying to put my hands again on some sci-fi stuff…
C&C are really appreciated (could need some helping hands on my long way to get better at this sci-fi thingy)
    Cheers

Love these last two, crit on the last piece I think is the building to the right looks a little "cut-out" due to the edges, almost like theres a rip in time/space and were seeing the building through that. There is also a little perspective issue I think due to the shadows on the same building, the two sides facing left have different values causing it to turn the building a bit.

      keep rocking!

[Edit: one other thing, you might try pushing the rendering a bit more in certain spots on the buildings to increase the depth, something to play around with, not saying it always needs that ]

@ Mike - Thanks a bunch, mate!! And yeah - you're right (again and again). I think I'll push this one a bit further - not sure when, but I will And yes - I'll start to render out my stuff more and more. Its just this bad habit on mine

@ Jokinen - Thanks a lot, buddy! It was a lot of fun working on that one - but I think I'll never touch it again. And for sure - I will

This was a sketch for a book cover I did a while ago. This version is now canceled (a marketing decision), but I have to work on another version.
        So - stay tuned…

Hehe, this guy looks like a nasty beast A couple things, I think the head perspective looks a tad off, maybe due to the subtle rim lighting in the upper left of the image and the cheekbone on the left (right in image) being played up more than the right(left in image). Then, I think depending on what you had in mind for the face or emotion your conveying, you might play up the wrinkles around the eyes and brow/bridge of the nose a little more. The right eye/left in image, looks like it could move in a little, unless thats what you had in mind of course

            Keep rockin these beasties!
