@Relinquish...Focus on main defining areas like the Arc of Ribs, Clavicle region,etc..!
It's still very much defined in "The THING"! So use as many references as you can. And regarding the clothes, look at the fold and creases of the Trousers and try to mimic the muscles with respect to the pose! And regarding the Video upload, look at the link below http://cghub.com/forum/showthread.ph...651#post104651 |

Mudbox works in a different manner than Zbrush!
In mudbox there is no right tool or specific tool to do things. It's a more generic software, so try different brush combinations with different settings like falloff tweaking with Grab and pinch brushes along with Sculpt and smooth Brush. If you are using a tablet, tweak the pressure settings according to the need. Look at the link below for "Cloth Sculpting" http://area.autodesk.com/mudlife/tut...=2&software=11 or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Eushy7f6rc |

Relinquish : the character you chose for this challenge is a typical one.. you have to blend in the human forms with the characteristics of rocks !! i would suggest you to first bring out the muscular forms in lower divisions and focus on the human anatomy.. try working on a small patch for the stone finish, and once you figure it out, follow it for the whole body.
