Hi all!

This is a piece I've been working on for a couple weeks, its my second serious attempt at creating a fantasy painting. I welcome any feedback. My goal is to build a portfolio of fantasy art I can submit to wizards of the coast for Magic the Gathering.

This forum is amazing btw, a real resource, please tell me if I'm missing some forum protocol, thanks. I am really interested in growing as an artist so please be honest!

Hey man,
Your position is good I think,
And for the value, I think foreground is darker and more detail. Also the tree needs to see foreground and background. Think some light from above is nice, light now seems like park.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I understand what you're saying about the detail. I'm still figuring out what is going on in the foreground. Its hard to know when to stop rendering when it comes to details that aren't my focal point.
