It depends on my work mostly~ I haven't really posted up any of my work up at home, but at my work, or studio space sometimes I'll post things up. I'll post up my personal favorites... But not all of it~

But I do feel proud of my work sometimes and it's nice to see how far I've come... I remember years ago when I never thought of ever posting or displaying my artwork anywhere because I thought they were terrible and very amatuer-ish.

It's nice to be able to say "I did that!" once in a while... :3 As long as you don't overdo it though... I know it can come off like you're "showing off" to some, but I think it only pushes to showing off if the you don't shut up about your art and how great it is to everyone you run into. In this case it's more about feeling proud of what you accomplished.

Hm, well two weeks ago there was the Games Convention in Leipzig, where I held a matte painting workshop, and I had two large prints off my work standing there, and it was fun to sometimes just stay next to them and see how people react to them, without telling them that I did them. But if people asked me, I did not feel ashamed or anything, to tell them that it was done by me. And most of them reacted positive anyhow, so it was a nice experience.

I love seeing my own work. Even when there are ridiculously obvious and huge flaws, and I know I can do better, it still doesn't stop me from liking whatever it is that I've made. I've always been pretty optimistic about my own paintings, and that optimism is a huge driving force for me in regards to wanting to practice and get better.

But I don't like displaying my work on my walls. I have nothing of mine posted in my apartment. I'm not sure why. I think it's partly because it's mostly fantasy art, but that's not the entire reason. I think it might also partly be because people might ask about the paintings, and I don't really want to talk about them. But really, I don't entirely know.

haha - pity snuggles, I'd kill for pity snuggles.

And yeah I've never seen art as being a way to get ANYONE's attention actually. If anything guys will leave because they find out I spend 60% of my time doing art. haha. so far it has not proved to be anyone's turn-on.

I rather to display others work than my own work, they are usually better. I am proud of my work but I have eyes in my face
And I don't find any magic in my work... I know how it has been done, I know every detail, but I find tons of magic in other's work.

I'm usually proud of my works after I finish them, but then I get bored with them later on. So I create new art!!
