    Default The Humble Merchant

    Hey, it's good to be here. Here is my work, The Humble Merchant. I did put this piece in CG Hub profile but i wanted to share here. *It's a reproduction and i am inspired by the work of Diego Velazquez* The original one is quite similat to my version except the bag over his leg and profession. I hope you like it and any comments are most welcome.

      Hm, it's interesting as a master study, but I don't get why you've added the small bag over Velazquez's painting, and why change the name from a buffoon (Don Sebastián de Morra) to a merchant.

      Anyway, this kind of practice is always very useful. Keep on with it!

        Well,I think it's a very good painting.Simple,but full of meaning.Colors are also matched well..

            That was a reproduction with some new elements but i notice i didn't write that information (which is add to descriptions in my portfolio)sorry about that When i saw the works of Velazquez i started worship to him :P This type of study is can be very effective i guess and i learn a lot ( at least now i know a little about background lighting and matching palette with composition )

            I add a little coin bag to get attention for his profession. Thank you very much for notice me about that lack of description :P
