As much as I admire certain artists I have never thought of them in an iconic way, like I would Robert DeNiro or Keith Richards or even less famous stars.

I'm sure some artists do actually think they are world famous household names but when it boils down to it only us artists or art appreciators who have heard of them, the rest of society aint got a clue.

So even though I have never met an artist I admire in real life, I don't think I would be nervous or awestruck, I'd feel on the same level even though my art isn't as good as theirs.
