@FateSilver: I'm a little bit confused about how the legs are arranged...Is there another hind leg behind the front left leg? If there is, you should at least hint towards it, otherwise the backmost right leg looks attached to the frontmost left leg. (and spellchecker can go to hell, backmost and frontmost totally are words
)

@Brynn: Thanks for the feedback! The first sketch is only like that as a reference sheet. I did draw each of them separately and then stuck them together to show all three organisms in a kind of encyclopedic way. I was kind of thinking of dinosaur books when I was doing this :P
