Default Creature Topic Suggestions * Open Thread

This will be an open thread,
Please use this thread to post topic idea suggestions. The topics can be as broad as you like, presented as two vague words or a small phrase and will later be divided up into learning categories to help push your understanding of movement, anatomy, design, and all other important aspects of creature creation.

To get the ball rolling here are a couple potential topics:
Topics:
1: Jelly broad back
2: Flight of the Dying Swiflings
3: Time Controllers
4: Dazzling pickled prancers
5: Night sliders
6: Ocean Shore Sleeper
7: Frenzied Bush Baby
8: Lightweight Planter Giant
9: Core Star Tunneler
10: Hubble Helix Runner

Topics will be randomly rotated into categories broken up into learning tools that will ultimately increase your understanding of creature design while strengthening your portfolio and covering a broad spectrum of creature presentation.

Here is a list of categories that topics will be linked with. This list will be added to as new ideas present themselves, feel free to post Category suggestions as well.

Categories:
Interaction
Dynamic Movement/Pose
Multiple Angle/Pose (Herds, Schools, Prides, Flocks etc.)
Structural Breakdown - Bones
Walk Cycle
Environment - Habitat
Life Cycle
Varying Ages
Turn Around - 2 views
Expression - Emotion
Explanation Chart
Relatives-Ancestors (Stages of Evolution)

An example of how the Topic for a week would be presented:
Time Controllers: Explanation Chart - An explanation chart is geared toward presenting how an idea works, broken down into multiple imagery. Text and Imagery is allowed, but try to explain as best as possible through images how your creature controls time, uses time, creates time, stops time, bends time etc. -

It's encouraged that WIP's, sketches, thumbnails, detailed drawings and final paintings are posted in the Topic thread. Don't just work on the image in private and post the final as a surprise at the very end. If you have time, share what you're working on with others in order to get helpful feedback, advice, crits and as a way to help motivate and inspire everyone. I'd like to encourage all participants to help each other out, offering crit's, relevant reference material for what a participant may be working on, links to reference imagery and information etc. Basically, if you have the time and you want to help someone improve their piece, please do so.
If you have the skill, time and experience, and someone helps you out, try to return the favor by helping out that individual or someone else. To those participating or even those who are not posting for the week's topic, I'd like to encourage you to help out someone who is receiving no feedback or crit on their design. Paint Overs, Written Crits and Links to relevant material are all very welcomed.

This isn't about competition or showing off, this is about everyone working toward a common goal of interest and improving their skills in the realm of creature creation. Ultimately there will be a winner each week but only in recognition of who has earned it, winning a weekly topic shouldn't be your goal, the real goal is improving and expanding your portfolio and knowledge.

Only 1 post will be accepted as a Final once it's presented and Labeled or Titled as FINAL. Multiple imagery should be presented within one attachment.

It's recommended that images be attached using CGHUB's attachment manager, so there will be no dead or broken links. If you need help attaching an image using CGHUB's attachment manager just ask me or ask in the thread and you'll be helped out.

That's all for now, feel free to post topic and category suggestions.
