Thanks for the response and feedback.
Geo: Rather than make the expression the focus of fear, I tried to create a character whose bulk and overall grotesque appearance would force fear upon his victims (ii.e. Jason Voorhees/Michael Myers).
I've got to a point in the sculpt where I feel as though I may start adding detail for the sake of adding detail. I know i'm not going to be able to create a game mesh for the sake of this competition however I will be creating a low poly once this comp is up.
Anyway heres a test shot for my final render.
Btw, most of the painting and lighting work were done in Photoshop.
