Suggestions to literature/ I m starting sketching/ basics
 
hi, I would like to give me some useful advice regards to literuture i should follow. i am starting with sketchint. have already buy papers and pencil and starting with basics, studying how to hold pencil and how sketch, how shadow works etc. get more focus between eye and hand. that all is nice. i mean practice, but also i ne med follow some theory i ne med some english book how to start draw i mean i need tehnics how to use light, perspective etc u find useful. and also my achieve is to become environment artist... i will be so grateful for anything u give me... thank you


Basically I am starting drawing. I bought some pencils, paper and now I am stuck above at table and think about how to start. I feel I need some basics- theory- literuture to follow in practical drawing- even how to correct grap pencil, some guidance regards to light, perspective etc- how to start train? I mean first time and afterwards besides of sketching drawing need some theory, reading what should I practice...

for visitors to inspire them, there is summary of books I would like to buy. but it miss me really stron basics guide regards to drawing painting, what kind of pencils what tehcni use, because I mean what I learn on the beginning it turn to a habbits so i need strong guidance on the beginning not only to trying something...

I am in a bit of a hurry, but I would suggest you to take a look at the Tutorials Galore sticky over on the the Education part of this forum.

While buying books from amazon can be a great idea, the cost can quickly go up, especially if you buy the wrong books. (I do not have the knowledge to say which is which, you will have to do some research on it).

There is quite a lot of comprehensive guides and tutorials on pretty much any topic in the above link, some definitely better than others, but it may give you a better idea on which aspects you want to focus on in the beginning. And from there you can always find the books you need to further develop your skills :)

exactly, I choosed several book mentioned above but my purpose is not to spend a lots money to buy a lots of them. for that I am asking which book is the best for beginning. i am not sure if somebody release what i am looking for :) but basically i am looking for sole generall guidance book how to start drawing/ using pencils/ markers to learn ,yself perspective laws and how shadows works on paper. now i am without technics need some printed material where I will be able study my progress, give me advice please
