So if any of you talented folks or people you might know are attending this years San Diego Comic Con, and have an interest in learning more about how to succeed in the comic industry, you might want to check this out.

Comix Academy is putting on an amazing workshop one week before the Con. (July 15 - July 20). Mentors for the Academy include Mike Mignola, Scott Hampton, Dave Dorman, John Van Fleet, Chris Moeller, and Durwin Talon!

"Learning, growing and improving are the watchwords of serious professionals and students. The Comix Academy exists to help any who love to create pictures and/or tell stories improve and polish their current work."

Comix Academy is founded by: Dave Dorman, Scott Hampton, Christopher Moeller, Durwin Talon and John Van Fleet.

Also important to note, there will be scholarship opportunities.

"There will be one FULL TUITION scholarship and three $200 scholarships applied against total tuition costs."
